The Baltimore & Ohio Railroad became the first transport of passengers and freight on 2/28/1827. The steam engine made a believer of a lot of people that it could do the job it said it would. Train travel has come a long way, in my little roomette, I have an electrical outlet, my own thermostat, lights, chairs that turn into beds. What’s not to love!?! So, today starts my adventure, traveling from Milwaukee to Seattle. Longest train ride for me; it will be an interesting journey.
